In Poontra's Bag
Driver: Ping ISI Titanium, 8.5 degree, stiff flex
2 irons to Gap wedge: Mizuno T-zoid, regular Rifle shaft
Putter: Titleist Scotty Cameron, Del Mar Three
Balls: Toppoint Balata
I like the Ping driver because it probably has the biggest sweet spot, and that will give me confidence every time when I step on the tee.
3 wood is my favorite club in the bag. I like the look of its head because I feel like I can get the ball airborne easily even when I miss the center of the face.
In many people's opinions, Mizuno makes the best irons especially forged irons. That's why I chose to put Mizuno T-Zoid irons in my bag. After I've used then for a while, I could feel that they're the best irons I've ever tried. When you hit the right at the sweet spot, you can feel right away that you've hit good shots. One of the most amazing things about T-Zoid is that even when you miss hit, you don't feel as much vibrations as other forged irons.
I've found that Cleveland makes the best sand wedge when I compared it with other brands. I probably have tired 5 to 6 other sand wedges already, but nothing came close to Cleveland sand wedge. With its design, I feel really comfortable over all type of sand in bunkers.
As most golfers know that Titleist Scotty Camerons are the best putters in the world period. If I could choose to put any putter in my back without any cost, I'd still choose the same putter I have now. It's great with both short and long putts. Although the costs of Scotty Camerons are really high, I still think it's worth putting one of them in your back because it's really going to help improve your putting.
Toppoint is a new brand that has been in North America not over 2 years. However, the qualities of these balls are just as good as any leading golf balls in the market now. I think with the soft feel and durability, Toppoint Balata is one of the best balls I've used so far. I'd really recommend these balls to every level of golfers. The costs are very reasonable because they're made in Thailand where the labours are cheaper than in North America, and they don?t' charge you the endorsement. Therefore, I think if you really give them a try, you're going to like them.
